Easter was relatively quiet this year. Since we now belong to a church that has 5000 members, we decided to go to an Easter Eve service this year to avoid the crowds and hoopla. Not that all the members would actually come, but they did mention it might be standing room only.

The evening service was very pleasant and it was actually quite nice
not to have to rush through the morning festivites to get to church on time Sunday morning! I think we will make it a tradition!
On Easter morning the kids woke us up to go on the annual hunt for their Easter Baskets. I don't know about you, but when the Easter Bunny visits us, he likes to hide the baskets... it's a little game he plays with our kids every year.

The bunny gets more and more clever every year, and this year was no exception. He hid eggs as well, so Paige and Cole were distracted just that much longer from finding their treasures.

We had our family over for brunch, as we do every year, and then we spent the day together reflecting on each other and our King.
