Cheerleader for a day...

Paige got to hang with the cheer squad from Cherokee Trail High tonight! A couple of weeks ago the squad brought invitations to all the kids at the elementary schools to join them for a cheer clinic that ended in a halftime performance at one of their football games. Paige was eager to sign up.

She participated in a half day clinic on a Saturday at the Cherokee Trail HS gym. There she learned some basic cheer manuevers and the dances and cheers for the performance. She made some new friends, and there were a few girls there that she knew from school.

Tonight the game was Cherokee Trail vs Overland, and we learned that the CTHS Cougars (our home team) is so far undefeated this season! The game was fun, but the best part was seeing my little girl out on that football field getting the crowd all excited!!
