Magic Kingdom
A trip to Florida would not be complete without a day at DisneyWorld. We chose to visit the Magic Kingdom park. Even though we took Paige and Cole to Disneyland last October, Cole has been talking about going back so he could ride Buzz Lightyear again, and SPLASH MOUNTAIN! He was actually tall enough this trip to ride it.
When we first got to the park we hit Tomorrowland first. Buzz is still one of the BEST rides, a definite MUST SEE! We also rode the Carousel of Progress, which we have never done...and then checked out the new Stitch's Great Escape. COLE was in heaven!
We fast passed as many of the rides as we could so we could avoid the long lines, and amazingly, we were really good at it. Our timing was great for so many rides. We got right on the Big Thunder Railroad, and with our fast pass we bypassed an hour line for the Jungle Cruise.

This is our 4th trip to WDW so we have learned to AVOID Fantasyland during the day. That's where ALL the kids are. We hit Fantasyland after it got dark and all the small kids were at the early Parade. So we had NO LINE to get on It's a Small World, Snow White, Mickey's Philharmagic, OR Pooh and we only had to wait about 15 minutes to get on Peter Pan, which all day was running about an hour wait! The only rides we missed in Fantasyland this time were Dumbo and the TeaCups. We gave the kids their choice of those or ToonTown.
ToonTown is where the GoCoaster is (It's actually called the BarnStormer) and it's their FAVORITE ride. At night ToonTown shuts down also. The BarnStormer is the only ride over there and then there is Mickey, Minnie and Donald's houses. We like to go to ToonTown and ride the roller coaster at night because since there is often NO LINE you can ride it again and again without getting off. The kids LOVE that. So when given the choice between that and Dumbo... the answer was obvious!
We ended the evening with the Wishes fireworks show and the Spectomagic Parade. It was such a magical day for our family!
