Happy New Year 2010!!
The question on most people mind's this year is not, "What's your New Year's Resolution?" It's, "Are you going to say two thousand ten or twenty ten?" Think about it... have you decided?This year we rang in the new year with some friends from the neighborhood, hosted by our good friends, the Lucero's. Brenda and I met at a meet and greet playdate for what is now
my mommy group. Brenda and I hit it off right away because our kids were all the same ages. Brenda ended up not staying in the group due to her schedule, but we kept in touch and our kids remain friends, especially now that they are in school together!
The Lucero's were kind enough to open up their home for a great party on New Year's Eve! We ate, drank and played games. Some of the crowd gathered in the family room to play Rock Band on Wii and some other
my mommy group. Brenda and I hit it off right away because our kids were all the same ages. Brenda ended up not staying in the group due to her schedule, but we kept in touch and our kids remain friends, especially now that they are in school together!
s gathered around the dining room table to play board games. There were about a million kids who kept themselves quite entertained doing who knows what. When it was about 10 o'clock we did an east coast New Years for the kids and for some of the people who planned to leave a little early. Jon served up sparkling cider for the kids and we popped open the champagne.
When the actual New Year came around there were only a few of us left, but we watched the ball drop and listened to the neighbors shoot off fireworks. It was a great time!New Year's Day was very low key - we stayed in with the kids and put together Lego's and watched football. HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!
